World Vision s Internet Business Unit is looking for a Digital Project Manager who will help us explode our growth over the next three years. Our goal is to have 1 out of every 10 Americans (10%25) support World Vision in some way so that we can provide aid to millions more children around the world. The person who joins us will be passionate about the digital space, they ll have big dreams for a better world, and they will possess serious professional chops.
Our digital channels are critical to exponential growth. Content marketing efforts, influencer programs, and digital direct marketing will all need to take big steps forward. We'll also need to lead an organization that has been historically focused purely on direct marketing toward an integrated marketing approach.This role will be in the middle of it all, helping to form new processes that make innovation and agility part of our DNA.
The person who succeeds in this role will be action biased, date driven, and deliverable focused. They will understand how to PM both digital campaigns and development projects (both web and mobile). To succeed in our consensus driven environment he/she will also need to be a strong collaborator who motivates peers through influence and relationship building. They ll have capacity to build change management strategies into our day-to-day approach to projects, remaining cognizant of the big picture while executing a project from concept to launch. They'll have the skills to oversee all the small details that add up to team and client satisfaction. They will have a strong understanding of design trends, digital best practices, and a holistic approach to user experience. Now for the boring stuff:

Responsibilities & Goals:
Define key strategic deliverables for client & team. Communicate expectations to clients and team members, and create a culture of energy and ownership on projects.
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams (analytics, UX, display, E-commerce, social media, email production, web production & developers).
Provide project team leadership; work with discipline leads to ensure project/campaign success within timeline and scope.
Manage digital projects end-to-end using agile principles; Responsible for the outcome of projects that involve and impact multiple divisions. Establish priorities for the complete project life cycle including the planning, design, testing, and project implementation.
Identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget and personnel. Develop and maintainthe master schedule for on-time, on-budget project completion.
Find remarkable ways to understand client needs and bring fresh ideas on how projects can come to life in the digital space.
Continuously seek out opportunities for professional development to become a greater asset to the team and organization
Participate in leading the day-to-day operations of a large internal digital team.
Help carry out our Christian organization s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign. Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.
Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). Work experience in projects or related field; 5 years. Work experience must include a minimum of three years of project management experience. Previous supervisory work experience strongly preferred. Project management certification strongly preferred.
