We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team.
As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel.
Your attention to detail and strong leadership skills will ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Duties:
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that they adhere to established cleaning procedures and standards - Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas - Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and adherence to hotel standards - Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints related to housekeeping services - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained - Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency while maintaining high standards of cleanliness - Perform regular quality checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any repairs or maintenance needs in guest rooms or public areas - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management Skills:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role is required - Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, including floor care and custodial practices - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to lead a team effectively, providing guidance, training, and motivation - Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards - Strong communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and other departments - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive pay rates along with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
