61 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Position Summary This position provides administrative support in functional areas of the human resources department, which include human resources general customer service support for employees, recruiting, benefits and compliance.
The position also provides technical and administrative support for the Human Resources department in overseeing personnel records, generating reports and ensuring compliance according to agency, state, federal and accreditation requirements.
Essential Job Functions Manage the agency's Human Resources filing system, including organizing records, retrieving files as needed, and maintaining file space.
Ensure HR records comply with relevant standards, including JCAHO, EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, and other applicable regulations.
Handle internal and external HR inquiries promptly and effectively.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees, offering guidance on personnel policies and regulations.
Track employee information such as CPR, Food handler, TB Tests, Driving records, and I-9 forms.
Maintain licenses, credentials, and registration status for clinical staff, sending reminders as needed for compliance.
Process routine paperwork, including staffing changes, new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Assist with record audits and mandatory reports, including I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, and payroll audits.
Perform data entry and maintain HRMS systems to ensure personnel file compliance.
Complete Verifications of Employment and process background checks.
Assist recruiters with reference checks and pre-hire onboarding.
Provide support during New Hire Orientation.
Ensure confidentiality of all personnel information.
Collaborate with other departments as needed.
Ensure adherence to HR Policies and Procedures.
Meet all required work deadlines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree and/or SHRM-CP/PHR certification and/or HR experience in a Behavioral Health or Non-Profit setting preferred.
Customer Service in a Behavioral Healthcare setting preferred.
Experience with HRIS and/or experience with implementation of human resource information systems preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of HR terminology.
High level of interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
