The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing medical billing, submitting claims to insurance companies, verifying insurance coverage, and resolving any discrepancies.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of medical billing regulations.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies.
Review and verify accuracy of patient information and medical codes.
Research and resolve discrepancies in billing information.
Denial management, corrected claims, medical record submission, appeals.
Analyze medical bills for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain records of payments received and denied claims.
Provide customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries.
Keep up to date with changes in insurance policies and regulations.
