We are seeking for a Physical Therapist! Join our growing Home Health Agency! Description:
Physical therapist helps patient(s) accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic activities by administering manual physical exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities ans well as in applying assistive and supportive quality care.
PT will assess and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation by physician(s).
PT will document patient care services by charting in patient and department records in compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Your duties will include SOC Start of Care Eval Follow Up for as the patient continues to meet eligibility requirements for home health services Medicare does not stipulate a limit on how many episodes are allowed for any home health benefit including maintenance therapy
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
1 year of home health experience as a physical therapist Candidates must possess strong caring interpersonal skills Recommended Skills Consulting Health Care Interpersonal Skills Laws Maintenance Medicare Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
