The Intersection of Calling and Career World Vision is hiring for a new Director of Procurement, Vendor Contract Services.

Hybrid from Federal Way, WA, with on-site work every 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, or equivalent (eight years) work experience.
In addition to education or education equivalent, requires work experience in general business operations, administration, contracts, or related area; 8-10 years.
Two years of supervisory work experience required.
MBA or Procurement credential preferred (i.

Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Contracts Management Associate (CCMA), or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements of digital services and cloud computing (e.
g.
data privacy, cybersecurity, compliance) a plus.
Salary Range:
$98,400 - $161,000/annually.

Typical hiring range is $115,000 - $140,000 annually.

02 The Job:
In this role, the Director will lead all aspects of procurement operations across the organization (excluding grants and artists) in collaboration with business partners.
S/he will direct the design and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with the organizations goals and objectives, and supporting policies, procedures, systems, and tools needed to ensure the best value for the organization while minimizing risk.
The Director will manage and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in procurement, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
S/he will be responsible for negotiating WVUS most complex and largest vendor agreements, including digital and cloud computing.
The Director of Vendor Contract Services will provide excellent customer service to business owners by advising them on procurement strategies and best practices, help carry out our Christian organizations mission, vision, and strategies, and personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Responsibilities include:

Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life.
Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives, and supporting policies, and procedures to govern organization-wide procurement efforts.

Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize vendor contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work, service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements, software licensing, and cloud application agreements.
Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements (data privacy, information security, cloud computing, PCI, sanctions compliance, etc.
) to ensure vendors meet needed requirements and agreements appropriately mitigate compliance and security risks.

Direct and manage staff, including hiring, training, coaching, performance and salary reviews, promotions and all employee relations issues.

Develop procurement policies and procedures for the department and the organization and ensure compliance of staff and internal customers.

Maintain an organized contract repository, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.

Analyze contract data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in vendor management practices, driving efficiency and cost savings.

Establish supplier performance standards for contracts.

Consult with internal customers and management to understand the organizations short- and long-term needs for products and services and recommend strategies to ensure needs are met, contractual obligations are understood, and potential risks are appropriately mitigated.

In collaboration with business partners, establish and maintain strong relationships with a set of preferred vendors that provide the greatest value and service to WVUS.

Negotiate and execute contracts with outside vendors.
This includes assembling a negotiation team and leading the negotiation planning for contracts.

Ensure maximum savings opportunities for WVUS
Work with Legal, Digital, and Finance Departments to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws; ensure that executed contracts protect World Visions interests and minimize risk.

Adhere to deadlines and other parameters specified by internal customers.

Lead the acquisition of and also provide support, training, and counsel to buyers of indirect technology, marketing, professional services and other goods and services.

Resolve any disputes and oversee monitoring and evaluation of vendor performance to ensure suppliers are complying with contract performance standards, including cost and time frame.

Prepare and present to senior management metrics related to contract performance, vendor spend, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department, as well as periodic reports and analysis summarizing department results.

Represent WVUS and coordinate with other WV Support and National Offices, as appropriate, on Partnership-wide procurement initiatives.

Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities.

The full range for this position is $98,400 - $161,000/year.
